Prior to joining Paul in the private investigative firm, Maria worked as a paralegal and notary public for Houma area law firms. Maria was commissioned as a notary public in Terrebonne Parish in 1995. In 2008, she graduated from Nicholls State University with a B.A. in Government and an A.S. in Criminal Justice.
In the spring of 2009, Maria was appointed by Governor Bobby Jindal to serve on the Louisiana State Board of Private Investigator Examiners (LSBPIE). Maria is a board member and chairman of training and education.
In May of 2012, Maria graduated from Loyola University, College of Law with a Juris Doctor and a certificate in International Law Studies. Maria opened the Dugas Law Firm, L.L.C. in November of 2013.
Paul C. Dugas founded Dugas Legal Investigative Services, LLC in 1997 based on core values and bringing a new level of tenacity and integrity to the private investigative industry. Paul has 15 years of private investigative experience. He is hands-on in the private investigative firm by managing the office and overseeing all investigations.
Paul is dedicated to customizing our services to meet the investigative needs of our clients. He is committed to excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all investigations.
